Position Tracker

The Position Tracker lets you monitor the ranking positions of specific keywords over time. Unlike the main queries view which shows a snapshot, the tracker builds a historical record so you can see trends, detect drops early, and measure the impact of your SEO work.

Adding Keywords

Add keywords to track from the Position Tracker page. Enter a keyword and select the site. The tracker will start recording position data from Search Console on each check.

How Tracking Works

The tracking cron job runs periodically and records the current position, impressions, and clicks for each tracked keyword. Over time this builds a chart showing position movement.

What to Track

Focus on:

• Core business keywords - The queries most important to your revenue
• Target keywords - Keywords you are actively optimizing for
• Competitor keywords - Terms where you compete head-to-head
• Rising queries - Keywords showing momentum that you want to maintain
