Heading Analyzer

The Heading Analyzer extracts and visualizes the heading hierarchy of any page, helping you spot structural issues that affect SEO and accessibility.

How to Use

  1. Go to /utilities/heading-analyzer
  2. Enter a URL and click Analyze
  3. The tool fetches the page and extracts all headings

What the Results Show

  • Heading tree - A visual hierarchy showing H1 through H6 nesting
  • Total headings - Count of each heading level used on the page
  • Word count per heading - How many words are in each heading
  • Words per section - Average content length between headings
  • Issues detected - Missing H1, multiple H1s, skipped heading levels (e.g. H2 to H4), empty headings, or overly long headings

A well-structured heading hierarchy helps search engines understand your content and improves screen reader navigation.
