OG Tag Debugger
The OG Tag Debugger shows you exactly how a page will appear when shared on social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, and Slack.
How to Use
- Go to /utilities/og-debugger
- Enter a URL and click Debug
- The tool fetches the page and extracts all Open Graph and Twitter Card meta tags
What the Results Show
- Open Graph tags - og:title, og:description, og:image, og:url, og:type, og:site_name
- Twitter Card tags - twitter:card, twitter:title, twitter:description, twitter:image, twitter:site
- Visual preview - A rendered preview card showing how the link would appear on social platforms
- Image dimensions - The size of the og:image and whether it meets recommended minimums (1200x630 for Facebook, 800x418 for Twitter)
- Missing tags - Any required or recommended tags that are absent
- Tag validation - Checks for common issues like missing image, description too long, or title too short
